Black Onyx

A few months before my father died, my sister in law gave me a very large onyx ring.  It was given to her by her mother with the message “sell it in the garage sale”.  She was just cleaning out her dresser drawers [good for her lol] and decided it was no longer needed.  My sister in law said to me “here I have something for you this is you, you would wear this take it”.  It is a gorgeous very large flat piece of polished onyx surrounded by marchesite set in silver.  It’s not a replica or new, I guessed by the craftsmanship it was older than I was.

People do not realize that whatever stone or piece of jewelry they grab for the day to wear, they grab for a reason.  99% of all people that own metals and some kind of gems to adorn have no idea of what their properties are.  This is how I view all of my pieces.  I wear whatever it is I need on any given day.  I have no idea [unless I look them up] what all of them mean.  I digress..

The day of my fathers funeral I wore my onyx.  I showed it to my sister in laws mom, and said thank you!  She says to me “I was looking for that very ring this morning!”.  When I tried to give it back, she absolutely refused it over and over.  She then said “It wasn’t meant to be with me, it is exactly where it needs to be”.  I find myself wearing this ring at work now.  And I know why I wear it.  There are individuals at work that try to get your goat.  You know who I’m talking about.  Push your buttons, and just infuriate you for no reason at all other than they can.  When it comes to financial matters and the source of your income, which equals the source of your survival and happiness because the two are directly correlated, you will allow no one to jack your world around.  Yet there are these ignorant people…  Anyway, I find when I wear my onyx, there is an overwhelming sense of calm and serenity.  I will not go overboard and advise you that onyx is the cure all for removing bastards from the work place lol.  But get a piece.  Get a pendant, get a stone, get a small ring and wear it.  After a month at work or wherever you find yourself most stressed by others around you and document your days gone by.  I guarantee you this little miracle stone will do wonders for your peace of mind.
