Have you ever heard of those Mystery Shoppers?
Well folks.. I was just tarot shopped! For lack of a better word and I have to tell you. I’m not sure what to make of the experience. I find it quite odd and funny at the moment. My sitter paid for a one question request. Okay, seem simple enough yes? yes..I pull their card and even pull an extra clarification card for them, and give them the literal interpretation of the card as well as all messages passed along from the divine. Interpreting cards is a sticky business. But when the sitter has a predetermined answer in their head, there is no getting around what you pull for them.
Okay so! I send them their reading. Not only did they provide detailed feedback about my business process and form, but about my style of reading! Do not misunderstand they were kind, there was no malice intended. But I have to say, if there were ever a way to keep a reader honest this would be the way to do it! At the end of the experience I did respond in kind thanking them for their effort to detail and further expanding their questions.
It just goes to show you, that no matter what card I pulled, the sitter had their own style and interpretation ready to go. I should have known when I read their initial email that said “will you tell me which card it was that you pulled?”. A red flag should have gone off lol. But in all honesty? I thought it was generous of them to provide feedback. I’m no sylvia brown, nor aspire to be. I give of myself, and that is the best I can do with my gifts. I remain honest, humbled, and continually willing to learn.
