In todays forum, someone asked a lot of great questions about crystals and their properties. I couldn’t answer all the questions. Mainly because I am far from having all the answers. But what I did focus on was her question in regards to size.

Q: Does the size of the crystal matter?

I had an aunt that was diagnosed with cancer. She was literally a mess. She didn’t believe in any of my “mumbo jumbo” healing. Okay..she liked pretty sparkly things, so I thought I’d bring her crystals. This woman was tired, and old. I was not about to go into crystal 101 with her. When I laid them in front of her on a cloth her eyes gleamed. “which one do I use for what?” She was instantly confused. I told her, her body will know which to pick up and where it goes on any given day. And sometimes she just held them and that was good enough for her. The days she practiced this she found peace and relief.*Did she pick the right stone for the right ailment that day? I couldn’t tell you
*Did she or I monitor her daily activity with the crystals? Sure didn’t

The purpose here was not to prove or disprove healing properties of the rocks. Simply to make the connection between mind, body, spirit and mineral. I realize there are formalities with crystals. And in a metaphysical sense you must follow instructions for recharging them. But at the end of the day it is my sincere belief, that whatever flows out of that pretty head of yours, all it’s intent is what gets infused into the crystal, and creates a more powerful divinatory item. In my opinion size matters not. It is the intent. Would a smaller animal bring less joy than a larger one? Exactly
