No ego
no vanity
I am not to be admired
go strolling through the gift
simply be inspired

your head in your hands
your heart on your sleeve
you notice the puddle
mother nature did leave

upon your reflection
you gaze into glass
you see a bright purple light
that you hope will last

as you look up to the sun and
feel the winds kiss
you smile briefly and remember
it was the elements you did miss
