We exist in a sick & diseased world

There is no question that the www is my best friend. I have claimed in the past that if it were a man I would marry it. And while it is also no secret that I love Craigslist, I must warn you all. Online predators, sex offenders, and your garden variety psychopath all use the www to stalk.

I received a phone call this morning from a friend of mine across the state line. I wanted to talk about the first frost and how beautiful it was to see. She wanted to tell me about some poor young girl that responded to a craigslist ad for a babysitting job, and had her life taken.

I understand that no one in this life wants bad to happen to them or the ones they love. I understand that God does not penalize those who do not deserve it [or even the ones that do]. God has nothing to do with this. In this case it was not a reap what you sew. It was her out, and this is how she chose to do it in her life chart. I UNDERSTAND THAT. But it does not suppress the desire to take these individuals, lock them up in holding cells like animals and infect them with some slow painful virus where they can watch their flesh rot and enjoy each others dementia while it eats away at them.

Please, be careful when using the net. This includes myspace, personal dating sites, and craigslist.
